We Love Florida!

While we were “homeless” last week, we met our great friends (Lindsay, Lee, Maston, Minor & Bowen Ballew) in Florida for a week. To say we had a great time in Seaside, Seashore & Rosemary Beach, Florida would be an understatement. While we drove our 620+ miles home…Scott, Sam & I reminisced about the week. Below are the highlights through all of ours eyes.

1. Seeing the tugboats out our hotel window in Mobile, Alabama (this highlight was after we drove 450 miles in an afternoon after packing up a POD that morning)
2. Sam boogie boarding for the first time in the ocean
3. The boys (Maston & Sam) swimming on noodles at our neighborhood pool
4. Watching all the boys (minus Bowen) play in the water fountains at Rosemary Beach
5. Eating million dollar ice cream in Seaside
6. Lindsay & I trying to catch fish in the ocean for the older boys for 20 minutes only to have a teenager take pity on us and catch one in less than a minute
7. Seeing the excitement on the boys faces as they played with sparklers on the beach at sunset
8. Embracing the outdoor shower
9. Sam sharing a room with Maston and Minor....and wrestling into the night
10. Ben and Bowen sleeping in Pack N Plays in the closets
11. Sam napping with Scott each afternoon (wow…it sounds like we did a lot of sleeping!)
12. Exploring the neighboring towns while the boys were napping (thanks Lindsay & Lee)
13. Abby…our fabulous babysitter!!!
14. Poor Ben’s face swelling up in Mobile after eating eggs (bad MOM!)
15. Making glasses out of pipe cleaners in the car
16. Getting to spend a week in paradise with great friends and rowdy boys

We can’t wait to do it again next year!
