ccYesterday, my Dad received his Master’s Degree from Sam Houston State University. He’s worked hard for 2 years to get to this moment. His entourage was huge with too many family & friends to name them all on this page. And since we’re a lively, out spoken bunch, I don’t think any of us were surprised when they called out “Terry Wayne Lindsey” and we cheered louder than any other group in attendance. I think we all felt proud during that moment!
Following graduation, we went back to Deta’s house and celebrated in true Lindsey fashion with beer, BBQ & a melted cupcake cake (okay…maybe that part isn’t tradition…but I’m trying to make myself feel better about leaving a beautiful cake in the car for an hour when it’s 105 degrees outside…oops). Congrats Dad/Paw Paw!!!! We were so, so proud to watch you cross the stage!
