Scott, Sam and I had a nice 2 hour visit with the doctor today. Scott & Sam watched the construction out the window (thank goodness that Houston is always “fixin” something) while I was hooked up to equipment to monitor the baby and contractions. When Sam wasn’t watching “dirt digger men” out the window, he was either asking, “What’s that noise?” or begging Scott to tell him how much he weighed on the scale.I’m 3 cm dilated, 60% effaced and having sporadic contractions (nothing to complain about). Of course, this doesn’t give us any clue as to when the baby is coming, but I thought I would share the information anyway. We’ve scheduled an induction for next Thursday, Aug. 28 unless something happens before that date. I’ll be in the middle of week 40 on that date.
We’ll keep everyone posted if something changes between now and next week.
