We’ve been home a little less than a week, and we’re already starting to love life as a family of four.
Ben is sleeping and eating better with each day that passes. He’s not as feisty as his brother (yet…) and has a go with the flow attitude. It truly amazes us what a newborn can sleep through! We also had our first park outing yesterday where Ben got to hang out with other newborns in Baby Bjorns. It was super hot, but the fresh air was good for everyone.
Sam mostly loves being a big brother. On good days he asks repeatedly, “What’s MY baby doing?” On bad days, he just ignores him…which isn’t too terrible in our opinion. Of course, it doesn’t hurt that his brother brought him a train table and a vast array of trains to play with.
Scott and I are starting to get used to life with little sleep and little down time. We’re mostly surprised just how long it takes us to get out the door these days. We apologize to all our family and friends in advance for being late to our next gathering.
