Oh my gosh, are you still pregnant?

I swear those are the first words out of people’s mouths if they haven’t seen me in a few weeks.

I can’t even tell you how many times I’m asked these days, “Are you giving birth soon?” My belly is getting so big that I make people nervous when they see me walk into a room/store. Advice from strangers on staying off my feet, keeping out of the heat, not chasing after Sam, etc. is coming more and more as the pregnancy progresses.

Next Tuesday we’ll be at week 39, and the doctor doesn’t see an immediate end in sight. Sam came at week 42 so we have a feeling baby #2 could do the same. I’m swollen, exhausted, overheated and everything else that anyone at this point in their pregnancy feels. But baby boy seems happy & healthy growing away in my belly, and we’ll continue to let him cook away until we can’t take it anymore!

So, unless you hear otherwise…yes, I’m still pregnant!
