The Resting Stop

The natives were a little restless from being thrown so quickly into the car this morning. So, I decided to pull off at a rest stop in Madisonville, TX so Sam could use the restroom & Ben could eat. What I discovered after going about a ½ mile up a windy road, was a beautiful resting area in the woods (there were lots of people & policemen so don’t get nervous). I was blown away that such a nature oriented place existed. Sam played on the playscape while I fed Ben and Sadie got to stretch her legs on the path to the lake. What a perfect break.
