For a little perspective, we’ve decided to add some recent pictures of the Lindsey and Sheehan families. For those of you who haven’t had the pleasure of meeting our extended families, they are both spirited and fun loving.
Scott and I each have one brother. Anna’s brother, Arlen, has a wonderful wife (Courtney) and 2 adorable kids, Van (almost 4) and Bella (1 ½ years old). Scott’s brother, Jim, currently lives in NYC but is expected to skip the country in the next few months and move to Australia.
Sam has made it very confusing in the grandparents department. Anna’s parents, Mimi & Pa Pa live in Palestine but seem to be “passing through” Houston all the time on their way to the beach. Scott’s parents, Mimi & Pop (confused yet?) live in Austin, and have “stolen” Sam away a few times this summer for a trip to the Capital city. The only way that we can distinguish the 2 sets of grandparents when Sam is talking about them is to reference their pets. Anna’s parents have a cat that Sam loves (yes, that’s our old cat that my parents so kindly adopted), Ralph and Scott’s parents have a dog he loves, Kallie. Kallie is only loved by a few people in this world, but to have Sam on your side is very important. Kidding!
We are very fortunate to have such wonderful extended families!
